I am creating a pattern for the first time. I finally figured it out, but there are a bunch of colors listed and I can't figure out how to delete a color. Is it possible to delete colors before you submit a pattern?

Yes, in an alpha go to draw alpha and click save, in a normal go to the interactive generator and click save, then you can go back to the first page of the normal or alpha generator. All unused colours will disappear this way.

@mehreen229 to create a pattern you need to be on the website, not the app. Select "create patterns" in the drop down menu that will drop down if you hover over your username on the top right on a computer or click on it on your phone.There you'll find the normal and alpha pattern generator. Do you have any specific question about either of them? |

@halokiwi thank you. I figured it out. I went to the first page and it lets you type the color number into each field which was helpful. A couple of the colors were so close together I couldnโt tell them apart on the draw alpha page

I just made my first pattern but I can't figure out how to use it for the knot directions! HELP!!!

@faithgood on top of every normal or alpha pattern on the website there is a video linked that explains how. If you are on the app, either go to the website or search it up on YouTube. Search for "segment knotting MashaKnots" or "flat alpha MashaKnots". If you want to know how to make knots search for "types of knots MashaKnots". But there are also videos by other creators on YouTube. You should be able to find plenty.

I just got this account last night and I really don't know how to use it! I want to use a pattern I drew but I can't find the directions of what color knots I need and what direction!

@halokiwi I tryed using the video but it did not tell me what I needed. I can't figure out how to go to the direction of a pattern I made up, and it is not showing me the direction of what color goes where.

@faithgood in order for me to get a notification when you reply, you need to tag me just like I just tagged you and like you did in your last message ๐I am not sure what you mean. Did you design a normal pattern or an alpha? (If you don't know what type is what, go to patterns and filter them to only normals or only alphas to see the differences) |
