Can people edit their patterns?

Hi I am wondering if it is possible to edit your patterns. I am asking because I had made a pattern and it was in my loves than I came back to re-make it a few months later and the pattern was still the same idea but slightly different.

I think you would need to make a new pattern unless itโs just changing the colors than you can do a variation.

@obieegg yes that is what I thought I was just wondering because I had a pattern in my loves that ended up being changed
