I'm trying to upload my pattern but I I can't get past the critical warning. It's says "-don't use so dark colors in your patterns, please (a)." Why can't I use black, grey and white? Do I have to change my colors ? What if I don't want to change my colors?

Darker colours make it hard to see the arrows on the pattern. When it has the 'a' in parentheses, it means that's the only colour that's too dark. When the warning disappears then it's fine.

Pure black is too dark for the site - try using very dark grey instead. One shade that normally works for black is 383838 (if I remember right).
