Thank you very much @adidesign for such a great feedback! ๐ I really appreciate you taking the time to write about this here ๐. I'm also super excited to hear you like the new generator. It was planned for a really long time and now that is done I can't even imagine how we could've been without it for such a long time, hehe ๐. I really hope it will make designing normal patterns a lot easier for all of our users ๐.

@Admin I completely agree with @adidesign! I could never figure out how to make a pattern until the update. I created my first pattern the other day and it felt great! ๐ Thank you for all of the effort you put into this community!

New interactive normal pattern generator is really awesome! I've been waiting for generator like this for a long time ๐ I have small basic question, because there's one function that I can't find, although I was trying a lot ๐ It's about changing colours. When I open the generator, I have only red and black and I can't change them. How to do it?Thank you in advance and sorry for my English ๐ |

@_arctic You basically just click on the red or black and from there you can switch the colors. If you want to add in a new color, click the white rectangle next to the red and you should also be able to select a different color.

Yes @_arctic, you should be able to pick a color in the 'using color' input, and then just click on the strings to change the color of that string ๐.And thank you everyone for such a great feedback, I'm really happy to hear you like it ๐. I did my best, and it's wonderful to see you find it useful! ๐ |

@Brooke_12 So you basically have to move around the colors, add strings, make knots into shapes like diamonds and arrowheads, then you add more intricacy on to those basic shapes. Thereโs no specific way to use the interactive generator, itโs kind of all up to your creativity. My best tip is just to play around with it until you create a design you like.

@oceanknot Is there any tutorial for how to use it? I wonder if it just doesnโt work on my iPad. I cannot change colors or strings in the new generator. Instead, I have to go back to the old generator to make any changes. All I can do on the new generator is touch a knot to change the direction, it seems.

@knittyelf No, there is no tutorial that Iโm aware of at the moment, but in order to change the colors on the interactive generator, you go to the part that says โusing colorโ and switch it to the color you want, then you double tap on the string that you want to be changed. Make sure the part that says using color is actually on the color you want though or else it wonโt change
