This just means exactly what it says 😂 it just means that when you finish one pattern, you will completely ignore the colors and just pay attention to what knots to make. The mods will accept it unless after the one pattern it doesn’t look anything like how the pattern is supposed to look like if that makes sense. For example, pattern #18 was acceptable. But if you were making a ice cream cone pattern, but after one pattern the bottom strings didn’t match the top ones so the next one didn’t look anything like an icecream cone, they probably wouldn’t accept it. Someone can probably explain it better than me 😂 but I hope this helped!

hey! this warning at the top means that the colors of the strings at the bottom of the pattern do not match up with the color of the strings at the top of the pattern. to fix this, copy and paste (or adjust) your knotting structure until the warning at the top disappears. we normally do not accept patterns that have this warning, since it is confusing for some to continue knotting the pattern if the colors are switched. hope that helps! 🙂

Top strings don’t match bottom strings basically means what it says lol. I don’t really know how to explain it. If you want to fix it though (because it will be declined if you don’t), then you basically have to repeat the knotting structure. For example, if the knotting structure of your pattern was:f,f,f,f b,f,b You would have to copy and paste the knotting structure until the strings lined up. You may only have to do this once, but you also may have to do it more than that. You just have to keep pressing save and checking to see if the warning is gone. One repetition would look something like this f,f,f,f b,f,b f,f,f,f b,f,b If you have anymore questions, let me know. |

@Elise64 we no longer accept patterns where the top and bottom strings don't match because they can be really confusing to less experienced knotters. I think you can see that well in the comment section of #18 and other popular patterns where the strings don't match because lots of people are asking how these patterns are done because they are confused about them.

ok since they dont accept them, you will just need to repeat your pattern over and over until they do match, or go to like a really far point and then stop when its at like 100 rows since most people dont make normal patterns over 100 rows.
