can you upload an alpha from image to the site or do you need to convert it into another one to ?

You go back to the tab that says alpha (to the left of the tab that says draw alpha), then you put in your keywords (at least four), click the terms and conditions button, then press the button under it that says submit to site.

thank you , i have submitted it now , it wouldnt let me use black as it said it was a dark colour but ive seen other patterns that have black in do you know why this is?

If you use an actual black then it would be declined because the grid wouldn't be visible to follow when people make the pattern, same as any overly dark colour. A good Hex code to use for black in patterns is 333333 ๐
