so i just figured out how to make pattern #6390 without it being a 1 2 pattern...could i submit a new pattern but the knots are in more of a candy stripe way or would that be considered copyright? any mods wanna help me out?? |

you could always try to submit it as a variation since itโs the same end result, itโs just a different way of getting there ๐๐ธ๐

Hi, yes, you can try. I already made a pattern like this for the pattern you mentioned. It's #35707. So I'm not sure if another one would get accepted. If I were to write the pattern again I probably would turn all the knots between two white strings to f knots as well to make it more like a candystripe. I only realised that that makes more sense once I actually knotted it. If your pattern has a significantly different knotting structure I'd say go for it ๐ Make sure that you include in the review notes that this is based on a 1212 pattern and that you want to make it segment-knottable. @jadeflwr13 submitting it as a variation is not possible because the knotting structure is different. |

@halokiwi thank you so much! yea itโs pretty similar to the one you made just with more forward knots... it might be a fun challenge for me to make another pattern for it but doubled? iโll look to see if anyone else has done but tysm for replying - very helpful!!
