Alpha pattern from font

I am trying to make alpha pattern and I found "alpha from font" option but I don't know how to add fonts I tried downloading fonts "pdf" and uploading it to the site but it doesn't work.Any help? |

Well, if pdf doesn't work, try a different format. I haven't tried that feature yet, will look into it.

Alright, so first you download the font from a site, for example dafont.com . You then have it in a zip format- the little tied books. This won't work, you'll have to unpack it - click on the zip file with your right mouse, and choose "Extract here". If you have a similar operating system to mine (though mine can be a bit outdated, if it's not the same you'll have to check how to extract files on your system), you will then have two files- one as your font nicely written out, with "quick brown fox jumps over a lazy dog" and all that, in ".ttf" format, and one that's just text and stuff that doesn't really matter right now, in ".txt" format. When trying to generate an alpha from font, choose the first one- the one where you can see the font. (The text one will show you a red message of "invalid format" or something).
