Is there a technique for the pattern generator?

I looked around on here and youtube, but I can't figure out to make a nice looking pattern at all, it always looks messy but I have no idea how to fix it? Usually I just mess around with the colors and knots on the generator, but it there a technique for making them? Or do you just mess around like I do? Any answers will be very much appreciated!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ |

i never could either. i know they are working on making a new type of pattern generator they just don’t know when it will come out

i like to look at other pattern knot structures when creating normal patterns for example if my pattern were to have a diamond pattern or arrowhead shape I would look at those types of patterns and how the knots are structured i would put it down in the generator and then modify the knots to shape it to my pattern i do this mainly to save time figuring how my structure of patterns.

For alphas, I usually make them by selecting the image I want it to generate, how many colors I want, and the width/length. After it generates the pattern, I just mess around with the colors and shapes to make the pattern even and consistent. I haven’t tried to make a normal pattern yet though.

use the friendship bracelet.net to make the bracelet pattern. It's os much more convenient.

For alphas I just draw then in paper anf them put in the site. I use a computer app called Bracelet Generator so I can do the normal ones, because is a lot easier.
