lumps in my bracelet

So I did a bracelet I found and I needed to tie on more 2 more strings but it added 2 lumps in the bracelet so I was wondering if there is a certain way to tie on more string??????😅😅😅🤗🤗I welcome anyone to answer🤗🤗😁

If you add in a new string the same way you add string to an alpha, it won’t be noticeable from the front. Pull the old string up and behind your bracelet, then tape your new string down onto your workspace and just start knotting with it/onto it

Some times depending on the Bracelet I like to go and tape it down but then after I finished the bracelet I made sure on the back the original string was glued to the back so then it would not come un done
