My keychain curved in the middle so that it looks like a U. Why isn't it staying flat?

If it is a multi-color alpha (or just one that has strings in the back) you could have pulled the back strings too tight when going to it's next row (if that makes any sense)

Mine do that too. I've seen on some string that u can iron it, so I might try ironing my keychains. Hopefully it doesn't fail 🙂

@bookworm88 To solve this problem. You could use a book (a heavy one) and put the bracelet or keychain under it,it would squish it making it straight,or next time don't pull too tight when making it.

How did you attach your strings to the key ring? And how many strings are you using? If you're attaching more than like 14-16 strings with the lark's head knot, they will start to follow the arc of the key ring. This will make the first few rows of knots on the far right and far left sit up higher than the knots in the middle. If this is what's causing your problem, there are a couple of things to try. You could use a larger key ring, or you could try the double-sided keychain method. There are a few tutorials for that method in the tutorial section. You actually tie your key ring in place with that method, and it keeps your patterns shape quite nicely. Hope that helps!
