so i wanted to make a vertical wave bracelet but w three colors back to back if i make any sense ? like first i’ll start off w 2 rows of purple and 2 rows of white, then i repeat those colors again once and then it would be 2 rows of pink and 2 rows of white. but the way i make my vertical wave bracelet, the 2nd color i tape to the side like you would when adding a color to an alpha. when i did the 2 rows of pink and white i was gonna bring back the purple but there would be a huge piece of purple on the side that makes the “ wave “. i hope i don’t sound confusing but how can i make it the “ normal “ way w out the big piece of a certain color on the side instead of a small piece.

if you’ve made a vertical wave pattern then you would understand that on the side it basically makes like a little loop that makes it look like a wave. so helpppp

You can only do 2 colors in that bracelet but you can replace strings. I recommend doing 2 colors for example a white and multi color string. It won’t look like a wave if you use 3+ colors (in my experience)

I'm don't make alphas, but I do have an idea of what you're talking about. Are you using the flat alpha technique to change your colours or are you just adding a new knot with a different string colour? If you aren't familiar with the flat alpha technique, Masha Knots has a really helpful video about it on her youtube channel. I don't know if it will make a difference with what you're trying to do but you could give it a try, like I said I'm not experienced with alphas. Hope this helps though ❤️
