Hi! I’m having trouble with when I start a bracelet with the Chinese staircase loop at the top the string knots will not stay in a straight line it will just wrap around how do I fix this?

be sure to alternate forward and backward knots. if you only do forward or backward knots, the string will wrap around, resulting in the chinese staircase look. hope that helps! 🙂

You can also do just bf knots or just fb knots
