Sometimes when my strings are loose I put glue over it, but glue can make then bracelet uncomfortable. If I don't want to put glue I tie a knot with the loose string as close as I can to the bracelet and cut it. I hope this helps!!

Some people also cover the back of alphas in fabric

The strings are supposed to end up like that on an alpha. You can just cut them

If you tie the first knot tighter out of the two knots for every string while changing colors, they shouldn’t be loose. It takes some practice and just try to make the string taught against the back while making the color change
