alpha base sting broke!!

I’ve never made an alpha before, and I’m almost done with it but one of the base strings broke. Is there any way to replace this sting?

Yes, just start tying on a new string and leave the old one out (:

It should be easy. if you're using the flat alpha technique it should secure it. But you should also tie the string and the old one together on the back so it doesn't fall off : )
