Hello! I was wondering what you folks considered as a “bigger patterns”. Such as, how big of a pattern must be for it to be moved onto a thicker skewer (if you’re making a wall decoration) and how small it can be to be on a skinny skewer! Thanks in advance! ✨☕️

I haven’t made any wall hangings, so I’m so sorry if this is wrong, but from what I’ve seen maybe above, 20 or 30? Again I honestly don’t know so pls correct me if I’m wrong

Bigger patterns are usually around 30 strings and anything bigger than that can sometimes be quite large so they should probably go on a bigger/thicker skewer. It can sometimes also depend on the type of thread you are using. If its thicker than usual then it will probably need a bigger skewer. I hope I could help you! 🙂

I also haven't made any wall hangings, but in general I consider anything over 35-40 for an alpha is a big pattern, and for a normal anything over 40 🙂
