Hi Kelsey what you can do is when you are tying the strings you can keep you strings closer together and tie you knots tighter but the key is to you have to keep them closer together

in my experience i get holes in my bracelets from either inconsistent knotting or forgetting some knots. i know for some people segment knotting can help or really just concentrating on making everything uniform and identical to the pattern. good luck!

i've found that if you pull your string up when you're making a knot it pulls it closer to the other knots closing the gap 😊

Make sure you tie the first half of the knot tightly, because the first half determines the placement of the knot. Also make sure your knotting tension is consistent
