I have an issue with securing my alpha bracelets! I prefer my alphas to not have any loops and I braid the ends instead! However I have encountered an issue with tying the first few rows! When I go in to tie a knot, the base strings are pulled off from the with minimal force. I currently just tape the base strings to the table with masking tape. Does anyone have any other securing methods for alphas?

You can tie a loose knot and then in the end you can untie it and make your braids! I also make my alphas in a similar way so I had this problem too.

You can also tape the strings down, then take the excess string above the tape and fold it back down, then tape over that. My bracelets/strings always slip out from underneath tape unless I do that. Also let me know if that didn’t make sense haha
