I think it’s probably that you are tying you’re knots quite loose.
You could try tying them tighter, being especially careful with the first half of the knot because the second half is just to secure it.
I hope that helped.

in my experience there's a couple of things that could be causing this. check your knots and make sure they're not only tight but consistent with one another. also make sure that you're not skipping ANY knots in the pattern as obviously this prevents the intended pattern from turning out the way you wanted. when i get this issue i try to kinda 'zone-out' so i don't overthink my knots and they usually end up more consistent that way. good luck!

I’ve found 2 very solid reasons for this problem... and I’ve tested it out myself. It could either be your consistency of your knots, or the thickness of your thread. Sometimes when your distracted while making bracelets you tie certain knots tighter than others... and there tends to be holes sometimes especially if you pattern has a lot of fb or bf knots. And if you you various brands of string like I do... some strings tend to make bigger knots than others and end up leaving holes sometimes because the knot sizes are different. I hope this helps! 😊

Make sure that you’re tying your knots tightly, especially the first half, because that’s what determines the placement of the knot. Tying the first half loosely but the second half really tightly will still result in holes

this happens to me too but I think it's because the strings kind of go apart from each other if that makes sense. Is there a way to fix that?

Sometimes this happens to me too! When it happens i usually go back and tie the first half of the knot tighter and make sure all of my other knots are tight too.

It's your knot tension. You should tighten the first knot, then make that second knot slightly loose compared to the first. It also helps if you segment knot instead of row by row

Make sure you tie the first half of the knot first super tight, and if you don't like where it is positioned move it with your fingernail, and then tie the second half of the knot. Masha Knots also has a video:

Hope this helps!

Keeping your knots super tight is a good way to prevent holes from forming. Make sure the amount of tension on your knots are even, for example not too tight, and not too loose. That also helps to prevent holes. Hope this helps!!

My knots used to be like that too, but then I started making sure that both halves of the knot were as tight as possible (almost) What I would say to do is to make sure that you are tying both halves as tight as you can so that it will stay in the position you want.

Also, the more you make bracelets, the better you will get! You will develop techniques and soon, you won’t see holes!

The holes between knots is caused when you don't tighten the first half of your knot enough! Try tightening the first half, making sure the knot is exactly where you want it to be! Hope this helps! 🙂

One knot is basically made up of two knots: the first one determines the placement of the knot and the second one just keeps it in place. So if you make the first one tighter it will bring the knot closer to all the other knots and hopefully there wont be a hole!
