For your first alpha I recommend starting with a small pattern (maybe less than 10 base strings) and not many colours (maybe 2 to 3). You can search for patterns like this by using the filters.I recommend watching videos on YouTube that explain how you can make alphas. Sometimes you have to watch a video several times but that's completely ok. I can recommend the videos "how to read alpha patterns" and "flat alpha bracelets" by MashaKnots. The videos explain different techniques how you can do a colour switch in an alpha. They're both beginner friendly but I personally think the technique described in the first video is a little easier. Other YouTubers with videos on alphas are for example Alex's Innovations, Megan Morris or kinsey b. |

When I started my first alpha I used a pattern that had ananchor andwas very simple. I definitely reccomeend it. the pattern #7254 or #5929 |
