How should I fix my alphas from curving

Whenever I make alphas they always curve and I have no idea why. If you look at some of my pictures of my longer alphas you can really tell. Even though I am using the straight edges it still happens, how do I fix this?

this happens to me as well, i tape down my alphas/bracelets once they start to get long so that when i do my knots the bracelet wont start to go to the side if i make sense. and also as im knotting i try to fix the bracelet as i go like stretching the sides a bit or pulling the first strings on the side so that they go straight instead of inward. i hope i donโt sound confusing but i hope it helps!
