I know a few bracelet beginnings and endings, but I want to know what works best for other people. Any creative ideas would be appreciated. 🙂

Well most times people just end it with a braid. There was this one point in time when I would sew elastic on the end of the bracelet so I could just slip them on and off my wrist (wearing them all the time annoys me). I also use velcro sometimes and it seems to work pretty well.

I like putting two braids at the end of a bracelet so that you can use them to tie it on (and I usually have a loop at the beginning of a bracelet)

I do a loop at the beginning and two braids at the end. You could do the adjustable knot also. If you don't know what that is, look at BeyondBracelets tutorial. BTW, does anyone know if BeyondBracelets has an account on here?

Well i tie a knot at the top of my strings and another about 2 inches away from that one before i start than i do the pattern and end it the same way. Ten i take some scrap thread and join the two end with a couple square knots. It works pretty well for me😄

I either put just one braid on the beginning and one braid on the end! But that get boring so sometimes i'll do a loop at the beginning and a button on the end! They are really easy to get on and off!

I do a loop on one end and a braid on the other. I am still able to take it on and off my wrist...I don't like wearing them all the time either

I actually do a loop at the beginning, a loop at the end, and then a braid following that loop. That way if I'm making for a smaller child, it can grow with them! I made a bracelet for a 3 year old and at its smallest it fit her tiny wrist and at its biggest it fit mine!

Adik has a tutorial on a really cool way to start/end bracelets. Search for endings in the keywords in tutorials and adik in the user and it should come up

I mostly do a buckle with a bead sewn on the end of the bracelet, but on one of my bracelets I did a sliding clasp. That worked really well. You leave the strings long on the ends of the bracelet, then you use a separate string to tie square knots over them, creating the clasp. then you tie the ends of the groups of strings together so they don't come out of the clasp. You can tighten it to suit your wrist, so this works well if you're making it for a friend and you don't know how big their wrist is.

I do a loop at the beginning and a button at the end. They are super easy to get on and off, and I always get a lot of compliments about my button bracelet endings 🙂
