how do you switch colors on the edge of an alpha that is using the straight edges technique

do you do only do one knot with each color?

basically with this, do not use the flat alpha technique if you are using it in the first place. make one bf or fb knot with your current leading string, tuck it behind the bracelet. and then bring out your new leading string and make the second bf or fb knot and then continue knotting. hope that helps! 🙂

You do it the exact same way you’d do it if you weren’t using the straight edges technique, you just do two fb or bf knots instead of an f knot and b knot
