Losses your knots. When you're just starting your bracelet, knots should be careful and gentle

I assume you are just tying an overhand knot to tie all of your strings together when starting the bracelet. although this method works, it makes the start of the bracelet wonky because of the strings being so tightly bunched together. I would recommend doing some sort of shaped start, such as triangle ends or a teardrop loop. another option would just be to start in a straight line just by taping your strings down and starting the bracelet row by row. hope this helps.

oohhhh that makes sense. I try doing teardrop loops, but I find that makes it hard to tie to tie on at the end. How do you do triangle ends at the start of a bracelet?

Teardrop loop all the way!!! Masha knots has an awesome tutorial on YouTube! It is easy to do and makes the strings easy to get to and creates a much neater start to your bracelet

You can do triangle ends the same general way as a teardrop loop but instead of folding your strings in half, cut them all so that both ends have ties
