I’ve tried making a few straight edge loops with no success. Everything is fine until I get to making the “adjustable” loop. Every time I try to pull the loop down to close up the gap it won’t budge and I end up tugging on my string so hard that it breaks. Does this happen to any one else? Any tips? Hope this makes sense! 🙂

Most people don't use straight edge loops if they are wanting it to be adjustable, i would recommend just using a normal loop if you are wanting it to be adjustable 🙂

I think the best way to do this is to tie the first knots a little bit looser so that when you have to tighten them it will be easier. Then you can tighten the other strings after you have tighten the adjustable ones. I hope that helps.

I'm just wondering what are adjustable loops and what are straight edge loops? I honestly only usually make teardrop loops, could you link a video or something I could watch to see what they are so I could help you out better?

@EBPacker2 Thanks! After some trial and error I figured out the best way was to not tighten the knots as much.

Hey . . . I'm having trouble doing the straight edge technique while doing a tear drop loop. It looks weird when i try to add in the string that is going to be used for the edge. Any tips?

I'm not completely sure there IS a way to do it with the teardrop loop though

@JuhJuh Don’t you just add the string in the same way you do it with the rest of the strings?
