color switch problem

So on pattern #39709 from row 1 to 2 it goes from red to a black knot. How do I do the color switch that way?

Hi ๐you tape the black thread next to your bracelet, and bring it in from the back to tie it in. Masha knots has a great tutorial on youtube called "flat alpha bracelets" that demonstrates how to do it. If you have any more specific questions feel free to ask me, I'm happy to help!

@Lizzie_Ann Sorry my reply is late...When adding new string colors, especially on the sides, I will thread the end through a needle and weave it under several knots on the backside to completely hide the strand and sort of lock it in place. It might be easier to tape it down to start with, but leave the end long enough so you can still thread it after the bracelet is finished. I don't like glueing or just cutting the ends off right next to the knot. |
