does anyone know how to prevent alphas from slanting? i’ve been making an alpha on a dowel stick and somehow midway im guessing it slanted a little bit and now whenever i hang it up it’s gonna look crooked. i always tape down my alphas while im knotting so idk honestly. |

Are you using the same brand or thickness of string for your alpha? If you aren’t, sometimes the beginning looks straight but as you keep making it, it starts turning more slanted and uneven.

Kudos to you @redrum_ your alphas look on point. If you have a problem with the rows slanting again, try manually pushing them up with your nail. Just keep "molding" it until you get them straight. I recommend you do this for every row so you don't have a problem trying to straighten like 3 rows at a time.
