I use embroidery floss. I prefer Pllieay because the little bits of the string do not unwind, and destroy the strand.

I use the generic amazon thread brand, which feels like pllieay tread and is actually pretty good quality! It sells for £15.99 for a pack of 200! 🙂

I use craft thread most of the time and a little bit of embroidery floss. My preferred brands are: DMC, Iris and a brand of craft thread I got from Walmart.

i use embroidery floss and craft cord! embroidery floss is thicker and makes bigger and nicer knots but it also separates and snaps easy(depending on brand) But craft cord is much thinner and makes small knots

I use both craft cord and embroidery floss (typically craft cord for alphas and embroidery floss for normals) I use the craft cord more because I got really bad quality embroidery floss online (should have read the reviews XD)

I primarily use DMC but have tried Prism and Artiste and haven't had any issues with either. I also recently ordered a pack of 240 from amazon because I wanted to add to my shade ranges and I've been pleasantly surprised with the quality of what I got, not to mention the variety in the pack! There are 120 colors, 2 of each color, for only $20.99 - FAR less per skein than DMC!
