I like to use embroidery floss. I prefer it over craft string because it doesn't have those weird dots in it (you know what I mean).

My favourite is embroidery floss or thread, DMC is the best but I use an off brand from Michaels and it works great

hey what do you guys think about using knitting wool because i personally think it it a lot cheaper and you get more 😜 . but would it still work

i am not sure . i have made one so far (i haven't been making bracelets for that long so i am not that good ) and it has gone really well . it is soft ,fluffy comfortable , and i can make The bracelet 😄 way faster

Wow! Am I the only one using crochet thread?I use some that is thinner than normal embroidery floss (which I also use) But I like to make bracelets with more strings and with crochet thread they still stay thin. Also I have a good color collection and dont have to worry about my blacks running out or such because there is like 100m on a skein |

DMC is good and I like to get big packs of loops and threads and they both make nice bracelets but use the same brand in each bracelet or it will look weird!

I recommend DMC, Prism, Loops and Threads, and Pllieay. All of those threads work awesome and have never broken or snapped on me

I’m very cheap and get all my string from the dollar store you can get a pack of ten for $4 Canadian. They are pretty good string it is not bad. I think it’s called mini yarn.

I use various embroidery floss brands that I’ve bought online that came in containers with bobbins. I got them off a buy-and-sell website, and they variety of colours is gorgeous. The only problem I have it that sometimes with different brands of string they make different sized knots... but that is fixed when you test them out beforehand

I bought a really cheap bulk-pack online(150+ skeins.) They're non-brand embroidery threads but the colors are really bright and the threads have a certain smooth shine to them...They work great for me!>> But particular colors run out very fast because it's just ~8 m per skein. If I want to make alphas or really big patterns I'd go for crochet threads... |

DMC is the only kind that I have worked with. There are some pros and cons though. Pros: - It's easy to work with - There's a HUUUUGE variety of colors + metallics - The thread has a nice sheen to it idk why I like that so much 🤪 Cons: - It does separate if you mess up and have to undo a knot |

I LOVE DMC but also when I started out I got a lot of packs from loops and threads cus it’s like 5 dollars for 36 and it was pretty good quality but there wasn’t much variation color wise so now that I have so many threads I can just splurge for nicer threads and things lol
