I was in the middle of making a nice alpha pattern that looks really good when one of my strings snapped (it's one of the "base" strings used for the image not the long background string). I really want to continue the bracelet. Can I tie a new string onto what's left of the old one? Is there a way to swap out strings without affecting the look of the pattern?

Hi! This happened to me once when I was making a bracelet. So I just tied a string that has the same colour to the "base string but when u arrive at the knot it's sort of gonna be difficult. I hoped this helped. 🙂

@catminion ya that works really well until u get really close to the knot. Then I figured out that u can just tie a new string at the start of the bracelet and make a knot in the pattern with and start working with a whole new string. The short old one falls to the back. Thx for the advice!
