Hi, I was wondering what size crotchet thread I should get if I wanna use it in a bracelet with my regular embroidery floss.

crochet thread works best with embroidery floss in the size 5. In the past I have used a size 10 which is quite small, and I have also used 3 which is too big. hope this helps!

I have been using size 10. I think it works great with DMC. The brand I most often use is Aunt Lydias Crochet Thread. If you personally think 10 is too small, maybe do some digging to find a size 8. Size 3 and 5 are a bit too big for my liking.

I would say that the DMC pearl cotton brand in size 8 is pretty thin, so I'm guessing that the bigger number in this brand is going to be thinner. Size 5 is perfect, but I find that size 8 will work in a pinch! 😊
