I’ve seen a few alphas made with double triangle ends (I think that’s what it’s called), but the triangles are knotted with the main string, not the background strings. I’ve seen tutorials on how to do these ends but the triangles are knotted with the base strings. Does anyone know if there is a tutorial with the ends knotted with the main string instead of the base strings? Or does anyone know what I’m talking about & can explain it? Thanks!

Pattern and craft on YouTube has a tutorial except it is for a teardrop loop instead, but you can flip which side there on. Please tell me if that makes sense or not. If it doesn’t I will try my best to explain it better.

that is for a single triangle but i think you would just do it on both sides

I agree with @knottahti. You just make two triangle ends using the alpha triangle ends technique. Use your leading string in the loop. Make sure that the shorter end of the leading string is still long enough to knot your second triangle.
