It’s really easy! I suggest the first time you segment knot make sure there’s a triangle/diamond in the pattern. Also if you’ve made a chevron bracelet you’ve done segment knotting before without realising it. You basically do sections of a pattern until you finish the pattern. It Saves a lot of time. @emciawrld

as @elephants1 said, watching youtube tutorials will help a lot. but actually following pattern tutorials on youtube by masha knots, alex’s innovations, kinsey b etc will really help you get a feel for segment knotting because they segment knot the pattern. also start easy with a candystripe and chevron. these two pattens are the foundations of more advanced normal patterns and they are very simple and easy to segment knot. another tip: draw your segments into the pattern. that will give you a visual on which segment you need to do and when. i hope that helps! 🙂

@loshluf I think the easiest would be knotting it in v shapes like you'd knot the chevron pattern. You could also alternate between the diamonds at the sides and the diamond in the middle. I recommend you take a screenshot of the pattern or print it out and then draw the segments you want to knot on the pattern. |

I recommend Masha Knot’s video. It helped me understand, and now I only segment knot! It’s faster and easier in my opinion.
