Hi, does anyone know how to finish an alpha bracelet with just a straight row? No triangle ends or braided strings. Just cutting of the strings does not work properly as the knots are getting really loose. I hope it’s understandable what I mean 🙂. Thanks in advance |

@m4l1n I tie them in knots with two strings you can look at some of my pictures

You can just tape the base strings down to your working surface and then just naturally do what you would normally do .when your going towards the right on the last string do a forward backward and towards the left a backward forward for the straight edges technique. I skis suggest you should watch Masha knots flat alpha bracelets video.

thanks for the replies, but that’s not quite what I meant. I meant that I want the the end (last row) of the Bracelet/Keychain just be a straight row. Nothing after that, just kinda like cutting the base strings off (which for me does not work). I’m looking for a way to do so without the knots getting loose and opening the bracelet again.

You can tie the base strings together and maybe add a little glue. If you do tie them together, I suggest doing it in groups of 2. For example, 2 base strings tied to 2 base strings. Dint forget to add your leading string in the first or last knot. I hope this helps.

I’ve asked a couple users and if you mean straight like zero ties or fringe the response I’ve always gotten is that they’re folded back and fabric glued to the backside. If you mean straight with a tie still, @knotartt has a YouTube tutorial of how she does hers 🤗

@Margaron thanks a lot for your answer and your effort ☺️. I think that sounds exactly like what I’ve been looking for.🙈
