Whenever I try to make alphas a lot of the knots end up slanted (so they aren’t vertically straight like they should be). Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

If your strings aren’t all the same thickness then the rows won’t be completely straight

There's actually several reasons this could be happening.1. Make sure your string is of equal thickness. If it isn't, you're likely to end up with wonky and crooked rows. 2. Make sure your knots are nice and equal. If they're too loose then suddenly become tight, the rest of the loose ones will tilt. 3. Your knots shouldn't be too tight. When you do that, you risk messing up your previous rows and will get bunched up rows that sort of have a unnatural rise to them. I hope this helps! |
