Hi! i was wondering if the bracelets turn out ok if you put some thinner base-strings in your alphas. I have a lot of black pretty thin string, but all of my other strings that i use for patterns are thicker.Thanks! :> |

just as long as your leading strings are all the same thickness it should be okay to use thinner base strings!

I have used very thin string for the bases and it has worked well. You have to be careful though. The tension on the bracelets could cause the string to snap. It just takes caution.

yes I've personally never noticed a difference in the finally look of the bracelet has long has your leading strings are the thickness has I've seen mentioned 😊

ive used thinner base strings and thicker leading strings and the design turned out very stretched. def use the same size base strings as leading string

@95033094 since i posted this the first time i started a bracelet with thinner strings and it turns out allright. i think that it depends on the kind of strings that you use
