does anyone have any suggestions on making upside-down alphas? i cant find a way to make them

I have actually never made one before but from what I know, don't use the flat alphas method because it apparently doesn't work

A few days ago, Margaron made a video for pattern #33464 they did the pattern using the upside down technique

Basically what you need to do is instead of crossing the leading string over the basestring when making a knot you need to cross it under
