any tips on how to get better at segment knotting? I've been making bracelets for a while and have only been going row by row but just recently started segment knotting. I'm just really confused on how to look at a pattern at know how to segment knot it. Any tips would help!

Hi! What I did when I started segment knotting was finding bracelets with diagonal lines or diamonds, (diagonal lines will be easier to start) and practice segment knotting in areas where it is easier to distinguish what section to knot. Hope this helped!

Usually I take a screenshot of the pattern and then I draw in the segments and number them.With some patterns you can almost knot like you'd do a candystripe or chevron. You just need to switch some knots out. |

Basically just look for diagonal lines of knots with the same string, and try to tie other knots to set it up so that you can do all those knots one after the other. Let me know if that didn’t make sense lol, I can try explaining it differently
