Does anyone have tips on how to avoid those little spaces in between knots? No matter how hard i try to make my knots tight they always show up!

maybe you arent tying the first half of your knot tightly? If you are, then there may be a possibility that it becomes loose when you do the second half, so make sure its very tight before doing thesecond half of your knot

I would try tying the knots tighter, pull the first half tighter as the second half just secures it

if you can only see these spaces under a light, that is perfectly normal. you don’t need to worry about that. however if you can see the spaces without your bracelet being under a light, like the others said, it is a tension issue. make sure your knots are tight and, most importantly, consistent. tight knots and then loose knots can cause spaces. so, make your first knot tight and snug to the knots you’ve made above it and secure it gently and tightly with your second knot. and make sure you do that with all your knots. but it really comes down to practice as well so don’t worry if it is not how you want it to be looking at first! 🙂

Another thing that helped for me was making sure to pull the knots in the right direction. You pull backwards knots up & left and forward knots up & right.
