best way to create patterns

I would like to know how to create normal patterns as well as alphas. Whenever I try it gets declined and I would really want to know how. Please and thanks💗😊

@emiliaelle welll either one because when I try to make a normal one idk how to get tue lines to match and color them. As of with alphas it’s either too big or simple.

I haven’t really tried normals since i can never get the ends to match with the beginnings, but with alphas it is too simple, too light colors, too big, or distorted, bur with the distorted one’s i fix them but still get declined.

if it doesn't have a picture and just has a design you could try repeating the pattern to see if it will eventually go back to the original spots

There's a really good tutorial in the tutorial section on how to design normal patterns. It explains how you can draw normal patterns using graph paper. Once you've done that you can write the pattern into the pattern generator.
