Did anyone had like a stage of messing up? I’ve been making bracelets for like a year and never messed up so much!! Do I take a break or what

If you feel you need to, just take a break or, you could try making some smaller bracelets to get back into things.

Yes I’ve had a stage of messing up too a couple months ago so I just took a break and I came back and I was just fine 😀

I went through that when I started alphas a long time ago. Just take the bracelet making slow and pay careful attention to the pattern. The knot picking gets me so frustrated too. 🙈

i had a stage of messing up specifically on alphas around a month ago. so i just made a plan to focus on normals for awhile since i generally enjoy those more and i mess up less often. but yeah i agree with the users before me. it is ok to take a short break and when you get back into bracelet making after that break, start slowly. knot a few short and easy patterns and gradually make patterns that are more difficult. that is what i’m planning to do with alphas. 🙂

i would take a break maybe watch technique videos and then start with some easier ones and build up. you could also always practice knitting on some scraps!

I remember I had a time like that where i kept messing up and couldn’t tie knots tight enough and i just wasn’t happy with the outcomes of my bracelets. I have also been making them for a year and i’m still not the best.
