Hi! I really want to make #39048 but I don't know how to start it as it has an odd number of base strings. Any recommendations for starts. ps: I have thought of adding another string but then it would not be even on both sides |

#39048 actually has 10 base strings, not 11 like the string number says. looking only at the number of strings it says at the top can be misleading since it includes the leading string in addition to the base strings. but even so, you can do a loop, triangle ends, or you can even just tape your base strings to your workspace and start knotting. it is really up to you and what you’re comfortable with🙂
