I think your best option is a vertical wave ( masha knots has a tutorial on that on her YouTube channel)

backgrounds for alphas look really good with multicolored thread. so do normal patterns with a celtic knot. if you search up “celtic knot” in the keywords there are a lot of cool patterns that pop up. generally a normal with a background and a black or white outline surrounding a color is a good choice— the color that the outline surrounds would be your multicolored string. hope that helps!

If knotting with a "fancy" string I like to do very simple patterns, maybe even a basic chevron. Otherwise I feel the bracelet is to overwhelmed if it has special thread and also a very complex pattern

yeah, i agree with the other commenters, a simple pattern is probably best. alphas also look great with multicolored backgrounds. for example, you could use blue multicolored string to make an ocean effect on a pattern with a fish on it (like #34011 or #38794), or green multicolored string to make a grass effect on a pattern with flowers or animals on it (like #31543 or #38788), etc.patterns with silhouettes on them (or even just minimal colors) look great with multicolored string, too. #29126 has a ton of photos showcasing multicolored thread! i think alphas that alternate in rows could look cool, too. the vertical wave like someone else said is a great one for that. #25493 could also look cool. pretty much any pattern that has just black or white and one other color would look awesome! hope this helps! |

OH i just saw you did #410! I think that one could work with multicolor thread as string A (instead of black). you could have a gradient going down the entire side of the bracelet, which would look really cool!

patterns with "celtic" designs work really well for multicolores strings, like #36552 & #21994i know 1212 patterns arent everyone's favorite pattern to knot but #7438 looks really good with multicolored thread too, BeyondBracelets made a video tutorial for this pattern called "Broken Bubble" on Youtube |
