Knots flipping colors

I keep having this issue where when I try and do a knot, it seems to flip the color of the knot in the row before. I don't exactly know how to explain it. Am I making my knots too loose? Too tight?

Yes, this has happened to me. What I had to do was either undo the knot that was changing color (I think you have to do the previous knot and then the one that’s flipping) and retie it. Or you could make the knot you are working on not as tight and just have a small gap. I prefer the second one

try to tie the first half of your knot tighter against the ones above it! that helps me!

I think I know what your talking about, I would try tugging the string that flipped, if that makes sense. It will typically flip it back. This tends to happen if you tie your knot too tight 😊

i normally will take the color that is showing through and pull the string really hard. it will loose the knot a little but if you continue pulling the string while you tie the knot, it should fix your problem

@BootsieG I'm not sure if there is a way to permanently prevent it, I struggle with it a lot. I try to tie my knots a little looser when it happens, or be very careful with it.

that happens to me a lot! usually when my knots are getting loose and I'm putting an unequal amount of pressure on the two strings (dk if that made sense) if u don't want to untie it just pull the opposite string and it should pop back 😊
