HELLO! I was wondering how to cut strings to the perfect length everytime according to bracelet width and length? 🤔 🤔

for alpha bracelets cut the base strings about 11 inches and for the leading strings it doesn't matter as much, since you can keep adding to it once you run out(:

For normal bracelet I usually do my full wingspan (hand to hand across my chest), then I fold the stings in half so I then have two of them. Once I fold them in half then each sting is about as long as my arm. This seems to work really well. If I have extra sting after my bracelet is done I put them in my scrap pile and use them later for alphas or other arts a craft projects. Hope that was helpful!

Also, the more often a color of string shows up in the patters the more knots you are doing with that color which takes up more sting. So if you have a pattern that has one color that is used a lot more that the others then you can make the ‘stand out’ color longer than the ‘background’ stings if you want to save sting. But in the long run, wingspan length has never let me down!
