How big should I make a loop?

it depends on the size of the bracelet. for give or take 20 strings, i usually do between 24 and 30 knots for the loop

probably around 18 would guess? but it really varies person to person depending on how tight you tie them, it takes some time to understand how many you need

for me, i don’t count how many knots i do in a loop because it varies bracelet to bracelet. i cut the string that i am knotting the loop with longer than the rest of my strings. and i start knotting the loop until the long string is about the same length as my other strings. usually, the loop will be big enough for me. hope that helps!

to measure my teardrop loop i always make sure i can fit my finger through it at least

I just bend and check fairly often but I would agree that about 30 is a good amount for almost every bracelet
