I recently got my hands on quite a few colors of blending filaments. I tried one color mixed with white embroidery floss in a chevron and it wasn't as prominent in the knots as I wished. Have you ever used a blending filament and if so did you like how it turned out in your knots? Any tips on how to use them?

I assume you mean a string that changes colours? It's great for the background of an alpha or for normal patterns where there's a shape that's outlined. The shape looks great with a colour changing string. |

@halokiwi I've actually used color shifting thread before 🙂 I'm specifically talking about a really really thin piece of metallic looking string that you can twist into embroidery floss or tie into... it's kind of odd looking and really hard to use (I started using it in a chevron) I believe the main brand that I've seen is called "Kreinik" Thank you for your input! You've actually kind of encouraged me to use one of my color shifting threads again (:

i’ve never used them but have seen them and they look quite cool. i suggest go for a light color like you did to make it more visible, and maybe add a few more to see what it looks like.
