My thread keeps breaking!!!! What could be causing this and is there a way to fix it???

Try not to pull too hard on your strings. You can still make tight knots without pulling super hard.When making knots already make them close to the top because otherwise the strings will rub against each other for long which might harm them. Another issue could be low quality string. You might also want to pay attention that your fingernails aren't harming the string |

the quality string youre using is prob bad, I don't think pulling hard is the issue

Ok, I’m getting new string soon so hopefully that will fix it! Do u have any recommendations on what string to get?

I've been having the same issue! I wasted so much string from the thread breaking and its driving me insane, if i don't pull that hard then the knots look way too loose but I always end up breaking it. I use DMC thread is that thread good or is it the problem?

@Vasopalio DMC is one of the best threads to buy but that doesn’t mean it can’t break. Just be careful with your knots and nails and strength.
