3913 pic stripes?

hey i was looking at pattern 3913 and was wondering if u do that as a multi colored alpha or if u just put in a bunch of differend colored background strings and it comes out striped? but then i wondered how each string would stay in the same spot and make a stripe... so any answers? lol😄😄😄

if you put the strings altenating you get stripes for the letters or whatever picture you are making

Check the alpha pattern tutorial. Ir ahould help explain. You use the strings you tie the fist colour onto to make the design.

@Juliette if you put the back strings in different or alternating colors you get stripes like in #3913

In #3913 you should start with diff colored base strings.
