Ok so how do you guys make your patterns on the keychain hook if its an odd number of strings? i know to do the larks head knots on the clip but what if its supposed to be 7 strings?

Masha knots has a tutorial on how to make keychains, the first method is the one she likes to use, where you kinda knot in the keyring into the pattern

I wouldnt recommend the larks head knot, its very specific on the strings, and you end up with a keychain with a curved top

If it's an alpha pattern you can take 3 strings and fold them in half so you have six base strings and for the 7th string you take the end of the leading string which you also put on there with lark heads knots.

I think since the bracelet is relatively small there shouldn't be an issue with using lark heads knots on the key chain

If you do a normal pattern you could either add an extra string maybe do the straight edges technique on one side. You could also take one long string, split it in half, use only half of it and treat it like one string.

I believe you split the single string in half (like take out some of the single strings that are apart of it) and then you double it over so it’s the thickness of a normal string
